Some of the modern switching supplies can run off of varying AC voltages
such as 100 to 250 VAC. Not sure if this one will. Glad to hear members
that say they are doing away with batteries. (Dangerous in the home).
As an additional check I would put a scope on the output in addition to
the spectrum analyzer.
