I have this book, "Toward A National Information System", a collection of articles on this subject 1965, imagining probably something like today's internet.
Has about 8 pages and 6 photos which might interest someone here. "FADAC" Field Artillery Automatic Computer; "Tape Tub" for same; FALT maintenance
device; Gunnery Officers Console; Army Chemical Typewriter; and some not deeply technical description. I could scan this material, but I don't want to bother
with that. If you're interested, you can scan it and decide whether the rest of the book is interesting enough or has any historical merit.
