Tim.
How long or tall is it? The AB-652 replaced the MP-65-C, which used the same Mast Sections and which did not have an insulator around them. I just browsed through some of the AN/GRC-106 manuals. It used the AB-652 and MS-116-A, etc. But no insulating sleeve is shown. The RT-671/PRC-47 did use an insulating sleeve around the bottom few inches (at a guess, maybe 15”) of its whip antenna. If the tube is short, maybe that’s what it’s for??

Subject: [Milsurplus] NOMENCLATURE OF POLY SUPPORT TUBE FOR AB-652 ANTENNA BASE?
Hi Group
Wanting to find the Mil. designation of the poly support tube the fits over the AB-652 base and "MS-xxxA tubular sections. I have one, and some various MS-xxxA sections I would like to sell.
When I describe my "Lot" of antenna pieces, I want to be clear on the description.
Thanks a bunch.
