[Milsurplus] Clear plastic packaged crystal

I was examining a U.S. Army, Forest Service type SPF for overall condition before selling it, and i saw this crystal in it. i have never before seen a see-thru crystal container before except the glass octal base calibrator crystal - oh, i just remebered somewhere i think i saw a glass CR-6. There is a central screw on bottom of this and i'm wondering if it's pressure adjust or just a closure fastener. Freq 3407.5, made by Sentry, Portland OR.
