[Milsurplus] WWII Navy RAL-8 Receiver Project

Dave, my RALs reside out of this state. What are the meters these sets use, please ? I can watch for them. 

I do like regen receivers still. I have a couple Torn.E.b.  These top out at 7100 kHz and I think maybe I will
rework a couple of the coils to give some more range on 40M. 

"One  of these days" I will have another go at the Torn.E.b. with the expanded pot metal front panel, the
one I could no way extract from its cabinet.
