Clearing out my stacks of paper I found this booklet, "Johnny Enzed in the Middle East". 11 x 8.5 inches, 45 pages, cardboard covers, "Price 2/6",
1944. "This is a selection from the weekly column which has appeared in 'N.Z.E.F. Times', newspaper of 2nd N.Z.E.F. overseas, since July 1941,
until even date." A collection of silly humorous stories about living conditions in the North Africa campaign, with numerous humorous cartoons.
I think the humor is a bit difficult for us Americanos to get. I am thinking maybe this item would be best off back in its homeland. If there is any
group member in N.Z. preferably, or maybe Oz who would like to have this, I offer to mail it cost free.
