Now I am wondering about other mysteries of the universe, equally impenetrable.
Like, what happened to Ken Lakin's collection ?
Like, what happened to Col. William Howard's collection ?
Where did Howard's paper go ?
What has me thinking again about this, is I recovered some paper I got from him way back,
and had in storage since about 2002. For example, I found schematics for Japanese aircraft
radios 99-1, 99-3, and 99-5. I think what I got from him possibly barely scratched the surface
of the documents he had collected.

I found also this curiosity: in a mil-manual style cardboard cover, a copy of aviation aids for
the Pacific area, 1944. And some radio logs. But - it's all copies, altho the cover is right for
the period. I have no recollection of where I got that. But it is a VERY interesting look at
aircraft comms and navigation aid stations in the wartime Pacific.
