[Milsurplus] AN/VSC-2 teletype

When I reinked TTY ribbons I placed a few drops of stamp pad ink on the
ribbon near the center of the spool and let it sit a few days.
If the outside of the spool was still dry, I put a few more drops in the
center of the spool.
The idea is that the ink will migrate through out the ribbon.
You could make a reinker.
There was one commercially available about 20 years ago.
You would place the supply and take up spools on the reinker and it
would pull the ribbon past a felt that was inked.

I guess you know that a few drops of WD-40 (the most misused liquid on
the planet) cam rejuvenate a dry ribbon.

Hope this helps.
