According to the Procurement section of the Statistics volume of the series
The United States Army In WW II, total production of SCR-284 between 1940
and 1945 was 63972. The highest serial number that I have had was 62805,
which now belongs to Third Army (re-enactment group). I corrected the
Wikipedia entry. Time will tell whether it stays corrected.

Subject: [Milsurplus] BC-654 production

Wikipedia:
Over 150,000 units were eventually produced in total. After the war, many
BC-654s were sold as surplus for $15 each. Today, many are restored and
operated by https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vintage_amateur_radio
enthusiasts.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SCR-284#cite_note-11 "

I don't think that 150k figure is right. I thought it was something north of
50K ?
