Very curious item. Pencil on right side seems to ( me, anyway ) read something like "OUT ..????" with distances 100 yards to 5 miles. Which probably indicated the signal strength on the removed meter. An LF beacon receiver ? Truly a bargain. Only $6, well, plus the little matter of $39 shipping. -Hue
