[Milsurplus] Way off topic Nazi military items.

The Sauer 38 pistol is/was a quite advanced pistol.  The caliber is generally referred to as 7.65 Browning.  From memory, most were issued to Luftwaffe folk.

I don't collect Third Reich items except U-boat books, but I do accumulate some firearms information.  FWIW the item description above would better be:

"Sauer 38H pistol, 7.65x17mm (32 ACP), Waffenamt WaA37 stamp on the slide and frame."

There is not enough information given for any item to estimate collector values, but the internet makes it pretty easy to research and identify reasonable values. Don't take the first $100 that someone offers. :-) Military collector association shows are held several times a year in many localities and are good places for information.
