Might it be a PRC 113? U/V airband and sorta looks like its older cousins.

I'm now the owner of one of these, a rather compact
2 channel SSB transceiver. Very clean inside and out,
no signs of damage or modifications. Even the nicads
show signs of life.

I've doped out the frequency management scheme. At some
point in the radios past, a frequency was changed, but
the old crystal, and the packing slip from ICM was stored
inside the radio, so it wasn't to hard to figure that
out. Channel one is a 4MC frequency, and I'm pretty sure
that channel two is around 5.2Mc.

So, is there a manual or other service information out
there for this radio? I gather that this is the same as
a CAI 32, but other than some basic information,
searches have drawn a blank.

Short of a manual, I'll be reverse engineering the set
to dope it out. First up is figuring out the power supply
setup.

Thanks in advance.

Jack Antonio

A Navy text, undated but possibly 1941, describes the GO-3 as the "most widely used transmitter in patrol planes."  The text also describes the GO-9 transmitter and GP-5.
So, what happened to the GO-4, 5, 6, 7, and -8 ?

1 meter, black face, no dial markings, needle rests at center

black tube cover, no nameplate and no indication a nameplate was removed. Dzus fit GF tube cover perfectly but diesn't have the raised clearance for GF's 837 tubes, so i assume for BC-230/ 430.

My friend Greg, in Seattle, tells me he saw at 'ABC Communications' store, probably in the 1990s before the store closed, in a display window,
a radio the same size and format as the PRC-8/ 9/ 10, but VHF airband. He says he thinks it was tunable, but I don't think that is accurate.
He expressed interest in buying it, but the store staff declined to sell.
What radio was this?
