[Milsurplus] FW: FT-241 LF crystals paint meaning ?

( I have updated this post, sorry, with more  information that may be relevant. )
Any idea what this color code on the fastener screws means? Some ( the minority ?  ) lack any paint on these screws.
Other colors noted: orange, red, brown, blue. One has blue - blue, both screws blue. No pattern of difference between the 2-digit
and 3-digit channel crystals is seen. Some crystals have on the screws black + black but I do not know if this means actual
color code black or more likely, just a black colored glyptol to seal the screws. Also seen, one crystal with orange + brown
screws, and on the top ( label ) side, next to the " 34.9 M C", a small dab of orange paint.
