IF I wash one, I wash around the labels.

I had used a black Sharpie marker before, but here is a better solution. I bought this white oil-based ink Sharpie at Wally World ( look in the Crafts Department ) and it makes identifying a tube in a pile so easy. The ink adheres quite well. I do not advise washing the tube after you have once marked it with this white Sharpie, as the marking can be rubbed off, but you certainly can rinse the tube later, without scrubbing it, and no harm done. The white Sharpie ink adheres quite a bit better than black Sharpie as well as making all the difference in the world in visibility. The Sharpie cost a whole $2.64 at Wally World. Be sure you pick up the "Extra Fine Point" one, not the other one. If you live in the hinterlands I saw they're also available from online sellers at about twice the price. Note, this is not a "plug & play" instrument. If you just pop off the cap and expect to start writing, you will experience the truth of the saying, "Read the instructions first". I of course didn't, and thought at first I'd bought a dud. CREDITS From an original story by JEFF QUAY, of Chehalis, WA.
