I snipped it and saved. I suspect the circuit could be drawn more understandably, but you don't want to make it too easy for the recruits to grasp.
Yes, Ken, you got it: the transmit reactor is the CT for the "cathode" filament.
But I see the plate-grid trimmer as a control on feedback, a negative control, because is feeds out of phase back to the grid.
Right, looks like a couple turns shorted on xmt coil and it would hit 7 MHz. I thought 7 MHz more appealing to me, as it would be a fun-riot to
really reach out with such a basic rig.
As I recall, the SCR-131 manual describes the rec input as a bridge, maybe to keep it from being detuned by the transmitter tuning, or to keep it
from being toasted by the transmitter, I don't recall.
HEY - I just recalled, I MAY have the handcrank gen for this thing also. OOH...wouldn't that sound good on 40 ? Maybe not !
