If anybody has a BC461 antenna reel control box, the metal one, not
the bakelite encased BC461A, or knows someone who might, and are
willing to part with it, I would appreciate an email. This is
destined for the B17F undergoing construction in Asheville. While I
have all the radio gear and slowly restoring them, we are on the hunt
for the little things that most threw out, mounting plate with the
shock mount for the RF ammeter/antenna changeover relay for the ARC 5
TX'x, is highly sought after, another mounting plate for the BC433
remote control, have one, need two, it is a square metal shallow 5
sided box about 7 inches square, with an odd looking female connector
in one corner, if you have it laying around and wondered what it was
for. Any blank plug ins, no switches just the pull handle, that go in
the front of the ARC 5 receivers, would save a step in making them.
The complete IFF setup, we can't find any of that stuff. If it was
made before Sept. 1943 and was in a B17F, we need it, especially those
4 R1820's you still have a tarp over in the barn.

Charlie, W4MEC
