[Milsurplus] 800 Cycle AC Meter?

Given an AC voltmeter, FS 15VAC.
The meter face specifies 600-800 cycles.
Is it reasonable to assume that there is less iron in this meter, vs. 
one designed for 60 cycles?
If so, and the meter were used at 60 cycles, would it just read 
incorrectly,
or would the movement overheat?
