Hi
Sone can, some can’t. There are SSR’s that are rated for inductive loads and also there are
some that are not. I’s not just the kickback that gets you, it’s also the phase shift between current
and voltage.
With a transformer (as opposed to a big motor) you should be able to manage things pretty well.
( = it should work ok).
