Here's something I don't get: I see this was sent almost a month ago. It showed up in my mailbox today. Very strange.

I just now looked at the TCH transmitter osc. It uses a 6V6 in Colpitts the divider capacitors at 50 and 100 pF.
The cathode resistor is 1500, like in the TCS.
The gridleak is also 47k, BUT....there is a 2.5 mH choke in series with the gridleak. I wouldn't have thought 47000 ohms would
load the tuned circuit that much. This radio is 2 - 16 MHz; 5 watts AM output.
