[Milsurplus] Advice on some WWII films ?

>From the time lapse, it may be likely it's in public domain already.  If you used a digitized copy and made a "documentary" or something with it, that new "documentary" as a new product would of course be yours to copyright, but the original material contained in it will still be public domain.
