[Milsurplus] Crystal tester

I'm interested!  I've been tinkering with the usual suspect from an old 73 magazine that is repeated with minor variations all over Google. Seems to work only on a limited range of xtals so far but I've not yet tried it with some higher-freq transistors I bought.  Would love a circuit that can handle from around 100KC to 20KC+

One, LF to 15 MHz, two transistors, also works with LC circuits.
