Yes he was a great one. Wasn’t he also an OO? I seem to recall having gotten an OO QSL years ago from him about one of my 1929 style transmitters (no surprise) in the AWA Bruce Kelley party. It was kind of a badge of honor. I’ll have to see if I can find it.
