[Milsurplus] [Glowbugs] Dying Breed?

I'd suspect he finally came to the conclusion that the 'goldmine' of gear
really is becoming less so with each passing day, Eugene. There are other
issues involved that I won't get into here but if you make the fall
installment of NEAR-Fest, maybe we could chat there or at the AM dinner
Friday night.
To the original topic - as someone who is staring down the barrel of
another move (less than 3 yrs since the last and another 8 yrs prior) and
not getting any younger, I can assure you that moving this stuff around is
not much fun. Especially if you seldom or never get a change to use it
because so much other 'stuff' is in the way or so many other things require
your time. I've given away far more than I've sold in recent years and
thrown away plenty. Things I would've jumped at 10 years ago tend to make
me twitch, or even run in the other direction. That last thing I picked up
was a Pilot Super Wasp. It must way all of 10 lbs, if that.
Ironically, I think it was the fact that I finally removed my boxed up
RU-16/GF-11 gear from its bubble wrap packing to set it all up, which
triggered the move. It had to be that or the ARC-5 gear. Everything was
quiet until then....
