[Milsurplus] [ARC5] Solved: Where'd the Harmonic Come From?

Well, one of the points of my messing-about with these rigs is the hope 

that someone else will dig theirs out of the pile in the garage and try to

get it working.   I’d bet coffee and donuts that, were I to recommend 

re-basing four 6AS7s, not a single person on the planet would go to 

that trouble for a 5-7W QRP rig.  But it appears several will use the 

available adaptors to get the little rig perking.

Looks like a good tube but once you build an adaptor, it’s too big to fit.  
Doing anything which can’t be put back original- like changing tube sockets-

is forbidden on my bench.


How bad do you want it to fit?  'Cause you could maybe transplant the actual tube base, right?
