[Milsurplus] 400 cycle power question

The SCR-269 is the ARN-7. The 110-115 volt 400 cycle is single phase and
is the primary power, at about 1 1/2 amps max. 24-28 volts DC is also
needed for relays and the bandswitch motor. The "official" power source
is the MG-149 inverter, but there are plenty others that can do the job.
Do you want to operate the rig at a fixed location, or on a boat or in a
vehicle? Years ago I installed an ARN-6 in my car with a homebrew 12 to
24 volt DC power converter. I rejected the ARN-7 because of the 400
cycle requirement.
