Likewise there is a new worldwide group of young radio enthusiasts who 
are equally motivated by the challenges of software defined radio.  Some 
of them have never heard a ham rig before and don't know much about HF 
or antennas but become motivated to learn after becoming fascinated by 
the magic of radio.    Unfortunately, most hams and organizations 
haven't figured out how to tap into this emerging group of potential 
hams who are no more interested in the glow of a filament than those 
gearheads were in learning the nuances of a carburetor.
