Yeh, I've always wondered about the accuracy of those numbers.  They 
translate into 1,622 watts for the transmit dynamotor load, versus 2,415 
V-A for the same load on 115VAC.  And that tuning load?  4,255 VA seems 
excessive compared with the dynamotor option of 1,237 watts.  And this 
ignores the AC supply DC component of 18-20 amperes.  Something does not 
compute.
