[Milsurplus] Is "Big/Heavy" Mil-Radio Dead?

Several people have asked about the AN/ARC-2A.  I
will spin it up to make sure all is still well,
plus include the 100 pFd antenna matching
capacitor needed to get full output into 50 ohms
(just put it in series with the coax center
conductor to your antenna.  No other, more
complicated solution is needed).  Have six
channels tuned for 50 Ohms:  3870 - 3880 - 3885 -
3890 - 7160 - 7290.  Of course, the first time
someone unlocks a control and runs the autotune
that will all be hosed, LOL.  Then I'll find
enough packing material to secure it in the wooden
crate and weigh it.  Might take a couple of days.
