[Milsurplus] Japanese radar on Corregidor

Below are several Army pictures of a supposed Japanese radar system found on Corregidor when the U.S. recaptured the island in 1945. Can anyone tell if this is actually radar or just standard Japanese communications equipment? The question comes from some history buffs who specialize in WWII in the Philippines. Thanks in advance for any information you can provide.
