Here's what some google-digging turned up >>>
B46 is the US Army logistics code for Signal Intelligence/Electronic
Warfare (SIGINT)/(EW) equipment - according to Department of the Army
Pamphlet 708–2 "Cataloging and Supply Management Data Procedures for the
Army Enterprise Material Master"
So Robert's B-46 LOAP (List of Applicable Publications) is for all kinds of
equipment that were handled by a particular logistics organization - hence
the confusion about it including stuff ranging from monster land-based
FLR-9 systems to helicopter-based ALQ-151 systems.
As of 2015 the responsible B46 Source of Supply was U.S. Army
Communications Electronics Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD
In 2007 it was CIMMC - CECOM Intelligence Materiel Management Center
In 1980 it it was U.S. Army Electronics Materiel Readiness Activity,
Warrenton, VA (Vint Hill Farm Station).
