Oh! THAT idiot. 

Yes. I had some direct interaction with him a few years back....and eventually with his son. 
The old man wouldn't even listen to one word I had to say on the subject.

As David says, he was "hotly unreceptive".

His son was more reasonable, but couldn't do anything with the old man.

I told him at the time that they were worth maybe $400.00 at most. That just about blew his 
mind.

Probably why he is so adamant about his prices

He started this idiocy out at $15,000.00 each, as I remember it, dropping it to $10,000.00 
each much later.

Gee.

Now he is down to $9800.00 each.

Since eBay charges sellers on a percentage of the asking price for even advertising their 
wares, I suppose he has more money than sense to begin with. I wonder how much he has 
spent over the years advertising these at the ridiculous prices he has consistently done?

What a fool.
