I knew him from the original list. Many off-list conversations. I almost met him for lunch one time when I was in “Wackywacky”, but his agoraphobia got the best of him and he begged out. Us in his online ‘family”, and his endless parts and projects really helped keep the demons at bay. His brother flew out from the States for his funeral and he’s buried in the Punchbowl.

Some of us together created “The Snowball” (a Flat Rate box) of mystery parts. When you got it, you’d take whatever was useful, and top it off w/ spare “stuph” of your own, Mail it on to the next list member. It went around a few times, then either got tossed accidentally by a spouse, or one of the list members went SK. Kind of unraveled after that. But he LOVED it. Big box of therapeutic doodads.
