BruceSeems that the filter assembly and X-bracket are the first things to go!
I have three hacked receivers just like yours; two of which I completed the "mods" on and installed 60 cycle power supplies. Experimented on these two receivers with the narrow IF mods which worked quite well. If you disable the CW audio filter by removing just one wire on Pin 2, SSB is quite readable when the RX is set to receive "CW" and you offset the variable IF by a few kc. The ARR-15 is quite stable for a 1945 design.
If you need other bits and pieces, I have a box of parts from a fourth unit which was badly hacked. Also saved some of the wiring harness if that would help your effort.Jim

Subject: [Milsurplus] WTB ARR-15 Receiver parts or scrapper
I am restoring an ARR-15 someone hacked on. The rear panel connector,
filters, junction box and dynamotor socket assembly is missing. Does
anyone have a scrapper or really raunchy set that can provide the part
needed? I do have a beat up dynamotor, it would be nice to find one in
better shape. Thanks,
Bruce Gentry KA2IVY
