[Milsurplus] BC-348 Marine Radio

Further to my initial email on this subject, additional probing revealed a
statement that "*BC-348 receivers were commonly installed in radio rooms of
ships built in Holland during the 1950's and 1960's"*. That's a testament
to the design. The next one I see at a swap meet with an ugly paint job
will come home with me so that I can repaint it grey and call it a marine
radio.

Thanks for the comments Hue, I also find stuff like this very interesting.

I once had a Phillips BX-925A.......I can't say that I was really impressed
with it, it was definitely "commercial" (not military) quality. The
Canadian Department of Transport had a few of these in marine and air radio
stations.

Regards to all.

Tom
