Snazzy! Glad you got it, Joe, but if you had removed that filament supply center tap, the 
shorted cap wouldn't have made any difference.

Also, those are not really molded mica: those are paper.

Good job, Joe. Glad you got it working. Does your filament voltmeter read now, or is it shot?

I have a spare one of those for you. Let me know if yours is good or not.
