For one thing, Joe, the filament voltage is not connected to the 6V connection and ground: it 
is connected to the 6V connection (#3 of the terminal strip) and #2. Both those wires then 
connect directly to the filament voltmeter and then on to the tubes.

On the terminal strip inside the receiver at the right-top-front, pin 1 is nearest the panel, 
filament should be connected to 2 and 3, 4 is open, 90 volts goes to 5, and 180 V to 6, 1 is 
both the shield of the armored cable and black or ground. 7 and 8 are audio output, and are 
in parallel with the phone jack.
