To answer some of Hue's questions:
The control really is labelled "Rejection", it's a thumbwheel type
knob, seems to be a potentiometer.
There is a tuning chart on the bottom of the receiver that I couldn't
get even a bad picture of. It has two "wave ranges", the first from
3.2 to 5.5 Mc and the second 5.4 to 9.82 Mc. Range I has the
instruction to "get in antenna plug half way" and range II says "get
in antenna plug entirely)
The key jack is rectangular opening with three pins inside in a row.
Right next to this is what can only be the crystal socket - a couple
of banana jacks that fit a FT-171. The transmitter controls are also
thumbwheels. I'll have to trace out the circuit to the octal socket.
