The TRT-1is an xtal controlled pulse xmtr w/ tube line-up; 6L6, 6L6, 829B. Its modulator tubes are 6SN7, 6L6, 829B. TheTRR-2 is a superegen rcvr w/ tube line-up; 959, 957, 1L4, 1L4. Very interesting set. I see no mention of a TS-269 in my TM-11-269 manual. It shows only TS-245, TS-261 and TS-292. The TS-292 has a 1-Amp RF meter and a 4-pin socket for a 73-Ohm dummy load resistor in a tennis-ball shaped glass tube. Mike, W6MAB

I am supposed to have two originals of the 1949 Second Edition of TM 11-269 that covers AN/TRT-1 and AN/TRR2. I haven't looked the TM in about 17 years and have no recollection of the details.

Anyone know more about the AN/TRT-1, AN/TRR-2 radio control sea mine detonation system, I mean more than just the listing in the Signal
Corps series ?
IF you have a part of this system, i may have something for you: I found a TS-269/ TRT-1 RF power meter. Think it has a 1A RF meter, but no
wire terminals, instead a socket. Compact instrument, like a table top DC meter used in basic electricity lab.
