[Milsurplus] FW: Parting out FRR-59

Ron,

Jim forwarded the info on your parts FRR59/WRR2 receivers.

I have one of each with problems with the drawer slides, and the WRR2 does not have its shipboard mount, the MT2293/WRR2.

Interested in all the parts you might have left, as well as the cabinetry and back sections as it appears that a previous owner removed the units from cabinets and made a rather fine mess of the slides and hardware.

Please advise what you might have left.

Pretty slick pieces of rather heavy radio… Just hope to find the “lost” before I got to them connecting cables.

Cheers
Bob

I wonder why people argue over the 10% of their differences and ignore the 90% they agree on?

Ron

Always wanted one of these receivers. Already have two transceivers of the 1950's era to work on so I guess I am not in need of another project! I think I still have one of the IF assemblies for this beast here so if someone is asking, let them know that one is available in Hot Springs.

Good afternoon to the group,

I've sent this email out before offering parts for an FRR-59 receiver. I still have a lot of parts left including two front handles on the lower converter unit. They were spoken for, but I never heard back from him. I have most of the internal parts as well as both cabinets. If no one is interested, I'm going to strip out some of the parts and junk the rest.
