Hue - think the 584 was the radar for fire control later and used for a good bit after war too. There are people still using 584 peds and servos and dishes out there ....
with I had a complete one here or either of them!
268 would also control searchlights too... early on I guess to light up the bad planes!?

He was part of the gun crew of one battery of 4 90mm guns controlled by the radar. ( The unit radio jeep had the
AN/VRC-1 ). He said by the time of the invasion of southern France, "there was nothing left to shoot down", slight
exaggeration, so the guns were given to France. I wonder about the use of the 268 radar through the rest of the war.
Maybe the newer radar, number forgotten by me, supplanted the 268 ?
