[Milsurplus] URM-25 Question

This afternoon, I decided to get my URM-25 back into good shape. I had 
noticed it never worked on the bottom range of 10-30 KC. The reason is 
quite obvious now- the coil and other parts for that range are missing, 
and appear to have been removed with care. The moving contacts on the 
turret are still there. Does anyone know if the band was deliberately 
disabled when the generators were rebuilt by the military? In any event, 
if anyone has a scrapper generator and could provide the  parts to 
restore the band, please let me know. Thanks,
