Something I have learned about how to rein in my creative project thinking: 

"Yeah, I COULD do this, do this swell project. But – looking forward in time, trying to get

a perspective – is it worth doing?"

One of the hardest life lessons I learned:  I will not live long enough to do everything I find interesting.   Focus passion on the two or three things that really matter, complete projects and enjoy some satisfaction.  Refuse to focus and scatter your fire to the winds, leaving nothing finished,  and a garage-full of “get around to it” that goes to the dump.  And a lot of regrets.
