Supposedly, it isn't all that difficult with modern 'pooters. Both of my BC-221-AKs still adhere
closely to their cal books. I have had to re-zero their 100 kHz crystals though, but that is
trivial.
I have at least three "derelict" LMs here (given to me) which I had at first thought to gut for
parts, but since they all work, I'm going to reconstitute their cal books and use them.
You know, of course, that all LMs have "modulation" and can be, thus, used as signal
generators, while only the BC-211 AK, AL, and AM (or AJ, AK, and AL) have modulation?
Not one of the other '221 models have modulation included.
