[Milsurplus] Frostfest AAR

A good event overall. Good turnout and plenty of stuff. It didn't seem like
there was quite as much 'good stuff' as last year, but that may have had to
do with how much walking around one did, and how early you arrived. We
didn't get there until almost 9.

Managed to sell my RAK-8 with matching supply and cable for a whopping $60.
Not bad since it was priced at $75 for openers. The other 2 guys selling
with me didn't move much, though. Seems like you almost have to give stuff
away these days to move it as you saw with the R-390As. If it's 'cheaper',
someone will buy a dog for $200 instead of a clean, working set for $450.
My time is worth too much these days to take on anymore big projects.

Nick and JP were set up over behind us a ways. Never did see if Mike Hanz
was in attendance. Saw a couple other familiar faces, but again - not as
many as last year.

Caitlin loves the colorburst crystal you gave her from your parts stash,
Ray. Several times since getting home she's asked me how to open it, or
when are we going to take the crystal out of the inside? She's got the
typical 5 yr old 'Disney princess' image of a crystal in her little head,
of course. This was her second year and she loved it. When I mentioned it
to my wife a few weeks back she overheard and made it clear that she wanted
to attend.

The RAK-8 was the last big boatanchor for hamfest sale. Need to unearth
more 'stuff' from the piles....
