Finally got my old BC-348Q working on all bands thanks to Jack Antonio sending me a couple of crucial parts (thanks Jack).  Just have to get the CW Osc. working. Which should not be a problem.  The crystal filter circuit works just fine.  I have ordered one of the 40W high voltage boost converters for the 220V supply, and have the filaments wired for 28v.  The boost converter is of the 14 to 32v DC variety.  Will report on how it works.  Have been using a big clunky 2 transformer supply that works fine, but really is a bit ugly.  This has been a fun project and had quite a few problems, some of which required very specific spare parts (coils, variable trimmers, etc.).
