[Milsurplus] ARR-15 X-bracket

There is an almost complete ARR-15 on eBay.  Has the dynamotor but is missing the X-bracket.  Seems odd that the dynamotor remains but the stiffener was lost to the 5th dimension.  I have only seen one RX with the X-bracket in place.  All but perhaps one of the RXs I have are also missing the dynamotor.  Were X-brackets tossed by Navy techs or is this just a post military improvement?Jim I wonder why people argue over the 10% of their differences and ignore the 90% they agree on?
