[Milsurplus] TBY-4 hammified antenna connector ?

I found this TB-4Y, I mean TBY-4, and I noticed right away a coax  antenna connector on the side. As much as I'd like to believe this was a military
modification, it looks too much on the crude side. I believe some kind of standoffs were needed to move the connector less deep inside the cabinet
to clear a bandswitch wiper ( believe it or not. ) But I can't see the military leaving the thread end of the screws pointing outside.
Was there a coax antenna connector on some TBYs for use shipboard ?
