[Milsurplus] Checking out a '51 Hoffman

I examined tonite a '51 Hoffman, namely the 'Angry Nine' model, and noted some features I thought were pretty cute.
The corners "seemed" less radiused, more squared off, than other GRC-9s I have seen. I am not absolutely certain about
this, haven't done any actual measurements.
The dial window seems to be a not magnifier lens. It is very easy to read, even in imperfect light. There is no magnifier
distortion. I really like this !
The antenna loading control in upper right is the same knob style but skirted, with 0 - 10 numbers on the skirt. The locking
device is a vertical post which you rotate to tighten down on the knob skirt.
This example looks like it was not one that was driven only on Sunday, but it's a keeper.
