[Milsurplus] AN/SRT-4A Marine Transmitter

As far as using resistors to drop all the B+ from one source, many older Western Electric transmitters did that as well.       Bruce Gentry, KA2IVY----If one of the downstream resistors in that string, the ones toward ground, were to open, I think that would make a really nice fireworks and smoke show.
I probably wouldn't rip out the original circuit and build Regulators, but I'll bet you a fuse and a string of 5-watt zeners to clamp that sucker.
