I think you should have asked him, "Hey Ray, what's up with the article ?"  After all, you did the work, and he indicated he was interested. I don't think these kind of
special interest magazines are inundated with articles anyway.  If rarity becomes a limiting factor for reader interest, well, I'll have to forget doing a ( short ) article
on the Hallicrafters SSR-1. ( No, not Drake SSR-1 )

He might have thought since there were so few around it would waste pages.  I know it was nothing personal - Ray is cool, in fact my shack was a cover picture a while ago. If it allowed by the listmeister I can put the article and pics on the cloud and put the link on this group.  I hope that I can find it as it was a few years ago.  It was quite and adventure getting the rig and putting on the air.  Could get about 500 watts at 100% mod into a dummy load!
